Mphase Studio has introduced m.phase Daw Remote – a new way of controlling your favorite DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), using intuitive multi touch gestures.
m.phase supports Mackie Control protocol and HUI protocol and works with both MAC and Windows. It’s designed to replace clicking and dragging with a computer mouse with multi-touch control.

You lost me at Hilton and the word “pretty”.
Perhaps they would have been better to actually, you know, explain what they were doing, how it was working and what was going on rather than putting a terrible soundtrack to a video that means little without description…I’m sure it’s all very clever and great but i would never buy that based on the video..and yes I checked their website too…missed opportunity guys..no sale.

Now here’s one that’s so elegant, its nudging me towards a $#@! iPad a little more. 😛 I don’t mind running Logic “by hand,” but this seems far more approachable than transport controls on a controller. I’m still wary of adding another whole computer to my work load, but its not the synths that are really drawing me; its the editors and smarter utilities like this one. Just don’t forget your old chops if the pad crashes on you. I prefer a ‘real’ mixer GUI because I was raised on it, but despite the choppy video, this feels like a good idea.
