  1. Really? To me it sounds distant from my ear and somehow filtered in the high frequencies.
    Any old sampler sounds better if you don’t mind some aliasing. 😉

  2. I’ll purchase all the Tone2 stuff, great offer for tons of sounds and technology.
    I think that they can transform ElectraX as Nexus 2 but the first one is a real synth.

A rather curious move by Tone2, considering that the architecture of ElektraX is not similar to the Nexus thus providing a Rompler seems to be a move in an attempt to yield more life out of the softsynth, where as merely creating new custom presets would not have commanded $49. Not sure you can demand that out of 200 presets either.

  4. I like Tone2 and use Nemesis in particular, however as far as soft synths go Alchemy is by far one of the best softsynths for synthesis plus sample (Rompler) manipulation.
