    1. No, both of those are cheaper than a Push & have less functionality than the Push (RBG LEDs, velocity AND pressure sensitive pads, touch sensitive knobs, ribbon controller, foot pedal support, LED display panel). This is nice controller for those who like to have faders, but they lack motorized ones like the new Behringer series.

  1. i don’t see it costing much more than a launch pad, pretty sweet.. feel kinda chumped out picking up a launch control last month.

  2. As much as I like Novation’s synths, I’ll pass on this one. I had the Launchkey 61 — which this new product looks like it’s an offshoot of here– for a whopping month before I dumped it. Totally couldn’t stand the feel of the keys, as well as the buttons-knobs-sliders. Plus the lights weren’t responsive when you used custom settings (only worked with their templates). Even if they fixed that last one, I’ve been spoiled with my Livid Alias8. I’m still waiting for the Dubspot DS-1 to finally be released; I’ll gladly pay for the DS-1 (twice as much as this new Novation) for the better build quality and simple custom control assignments.

  3. How does the connectivity to a Launch Pad work? 2 USB outs or do you chain it? .One website said it has to be a LaunchPad S? I have a standard LaunchPad ( on the back CE NOVLPDO1). Will this work?
