  1. This is a welcome update! There are only a couple of synths in iOS that allow custom tuning maps. Having Z3ta+ be one of them is most excellent!!

I don’t have the desktop version, but the ability to exchange presets is making those folks quite happy, I imagine.

A “favorites” section is also very cool. And more granular copy/paste will be handy.

Still some annoying fiddly bits of the interface, and annoying flaws- things that should have been fixed by now. But these new features are definitely welcome improvements.

  2. I just got a deal on the desktop version (sorry, sales over now) through pluginboutique.

It was interesting because I could finally compare notes between the desktop & iOS version.

I was QUITE surprised to see that a couple of the things that really bothered me about the iOS version were the same in the desktop version. The interface is also a little crowded, with very tiny control fields. And the Master Tune function (even though it has little up/down arrows next to it) can only be incremented by +1, and must be clicked 99 times to get -1 cents. Ok. At least it is equally stupid in its desktop version.

Still I liked the synth enough to now have both versions. AND I can use QuicKeys to make some macros for things that are problematic.
