The MacBeth Elements Synthesizer Voltage Controlled Filter

In this video, synth designer Ken MacBeth discusses the Voltage Controlled Filter in the new MacBeth Elements Synthesizer

The first part of the video is a short discussion about his process in designing the new filter. ‘Speed on further into the vid if the technical stuff gets boring!” he notes. “I try here to give a overview of how things were done!”

The MacBeth Elements Synthesizer is a new analog synth, designed with a ‘no compromise in sound and build quality philosophy’, according to MacBeth. It is priced at about US $5,000. It’s available for pre-order via several retailers, including Schneidersladen and Analog Haven.

See our previous MacBeth Elements Synthesizer posts for more info on the synth and it’s development.
