  3. I saw Michael Stanwood play PVC pipes with flip flops in Boulder back in the late 80’s, but I don’t know if he did it first. I think once you figure out that you can make that cool sound by hitting pvc’s and that it smarts to hit it with your hands, then it is usually just a matter of looking down at your feet at some point and a solution dawns on you.

  4. Dad was a plumber. Used to drive him crazy with stuff like this when I was bored in the shop. So many kinds of pipes, so many things to hit them with. I’m only human.
