  1. 4 minutes of waffling before he plays the thing, sure it isn’t a delay? But seriously sounds good and some serious hair action

    1. The series of videos is over an hour of content, so it is probably going to be of interest mainly if you’re considering buying one.

  2. I just recently acquired this pedal and I am looking forward to this series. The pedal is magic, I’d like to know how to properly explore it. Sounds great paired with a Juno-6 : ) or acoustic guitar.

    1. A quick look at Billboard charts suggest there are a fair amount of people who do. Not that like anything on the charts, but just sayin…

  3. Wow! I need this unit. Just watch part 5, Swell reverb, at the end you can see that the guy is actually emotionally touched. Beautiful.

  4. I am a lucky owner of one of these. I have also a midiverb 2 ( Tc’ Reverbss, Line six echo pro etc )
The midi verb two , is one of my favourite reverbs, but having heard the strymon I had to get one.
Really stunning reverb and it seems whatever you use it on , it sounds very warm and beautiful.
Nice to see this unit getting attention. It seems to blow all others out of the water. I use mine on synths and samples. No guitar shit for me…………( unless its Melvin Wah Wah raging and other heavy funk stuff off vinyl)
I have had Lexicons to me they sound cold.

  5. This is the reverb I want. I’ve tried the Eventide Space and while it sounds super cool I prefer the airy sound of the BigSky. I also really like the Freeze and Infinite Sustain functions on it. It will be mine some day.

  6. Just got my Blue Sky today at Long and McQuade’s in Toronto. It took me a year to get the hang of my VoiceLive 2, so it’s no surprise I spent a couple baffled hours today. I seem to have a low aptitude for this sort of thing, so I suspect this will take me a couple months to begin to use it fluidly. I love this pedal already though.

  7. Sooo, am I the only that thinks this pedal review is a bit biased imho because he has two or three other pedals running through the loop on top of the Strymon B.S? To me I feel like it isn’t a pure review but…nevermind, as I am typing I retract cause neither was Reverb’s…I think them and Sweetwater were running fuzzy as well along with the B.S but I am not sure….Nevermind, but still…
