Korg Gadget Updated With Module, Improved Live Export

Korg has updated Gadget, its virtual studio for the iPad.

The update brings support for Korg Module, improved Ableton Live export, MIDI over Bluetooth support and more.

Korg is also having a holiday sale on Gadget through Dec 11.

Here’s what’s new in version 1.1:

  • The Korg Module app now includes five high-quality sound engine gadgets
  • Ableton Live project export functionality has been enhanced, allowing you to choose either WAV or AAC as the audio file format for export
  • Any previous glitches have been fixed courtesy of the Restore function available on the gadget select screen
  • MIDI over Bluetooth, the latest iOS 8 technology, is now supported
  • Bug fixes and improvementsvia Goudron

  1. They fixed the issue with the Gadgetcloud where tracks were not being updated. For example I would upload a new track but it would not appear on the gadgetcloud but it would appear on my soundcloud page. New tracks were not being updated. Now there are new tracks on the gadgetcloud but- on the”my tracks” page, it’s empty! Anyway, what I’m hoping for in a future update is a few dedicated effects gadgets to route exhisting gadgets to, but this app is still my go – to app for mobile music production.
