OSCiLLOT Modular System For Ableton Live Gets New Modules

Max For Cats has released an update to OSCiLLOT – its modular system for Ableton Live.

OSCiLLOT offers more than 100 modules – including oscillators, processors, filters, mixers, modulators, amplifiers, shapers, sequencers, utilities and more. These comprise the basic building blocks of many electronic instruments and effects.

Here’s what’s new in OSCiLLOT v. 1.0.2:

  • NEW MODULES:
    • RED Osc
    • RED Filter
    • Leslie
    • Wavefolder
    • VoiceMorpher
    • Pitch2Trigger
    • Ratchet
  • IMPROVEMENTS:
    • CV to MIDI Send: Now supports CC data and has 8 routing busses
    • Looper: Has a new Trigger input to toggle recording
  • BUGFIXES:
    • LPGate: ‘ping’ function would not work correctly
    • Random Value: min/max values would not be correctly restored
    • Random Value: would sometimes not output values
    • Redux: Overload LED could spill into Live’s Undo history
    • Editor: Could save faulty data after restoring a patch from Live’s crash recovery

OSCiLLOT is available via Ableton for US $99.

  1. sounds nice. But have you fixed whatever gives me and others BSOD? And whatever just made it crash for others.
Dont get me wrong though, its an awesome system, and I was supposed to use it live just weeks after I bought it. But I count take the chance 🙁

    1. Modular is modular. No matter where it lives. But in software you can do things that’s impossible in hardware. Dont get me wrong, I am also drooling over hardware modular. Just cant afford it now. Ideal is a mix of software and hardware.

  2. I have Oscillot and I think it’s great!! Hardware/software i don’t care… (Ofcourse i’d rather have a real hardware version duhhhhh), but still… the fun i had/have with Oscillot is TOTALLY worth that 99 dollar!! i think it’s cheap if you know you can make a siiiick CV-signal, just to assign it to mod something easy… Spend a lot of hours behind it, and many more to come… don’t think, cop dat, and have fun. you deserve having fun.
