sismo-lito-front

Sismo has introduced the Lito  a combination of their Qadrox (square wave oscillator), TwinT (sine wave oscillator) and the small Qad4 (square, pulse and lfo). It also offers a filter section (connected to square) and two analogue sequencers (one connected to sine by gate and the other connected to the square triangle by cv).

Here’s a video demo of the Sismo Lito in action:

Specifications:

  • Polyphony : monophonic
  • Oscillators : 4 (1x sine – 2x square – 1x triangle
  • Control : Internal 2x eight step sequencer (1 gate -1 cv)
  • External 2x cv in, 1x sync in – 3x sync out
  • Current draw: 12 Volts (center positive)
  • Weight: 450g
  • Dimensions: 15cm (H) x 12,5cm (D) x 13cm (W)

  1. These kind of demo’s do an awful job of selling these synths. Just a bunch of random noises. This is why guys like KINK get endorsed by manufacturers because they take these machines and show you what they can really do, musically. I’m sure this is capable of great things, but this video is a bit painful.

      1. It’s awesome and sounds amazing and if you don’t listen to or make music that would use any of these sounds then you’re using a pretty boring and limited palette.

    1. Just because you don’t think of this as ‘music’ doesn’t mean it doesn’t have worth. It’s music to me. Trying to work with the limitations of any music is interesting to me, also trying to use something in a different way, or a way that’s not intended is IMHO when you find something unique. I personally try to find unique gear like this. If I didn’t just buy a house, I’d buy their whole line. But, I really think this is quite reasonable considering he inventiveness and analogue oscillators. Plus sequencer. It’s very VCS3. I can’t afford one of those right now, and I’m quite happy with iVCS anyway. This is quite awesome and I’d like to support in my own small way, someone as creative as this little company.

  2. These guys make really cool little boxes. They are all fairly affordable as well – surprising being handmade and all.

They make a special limited edition every month that is a custom design.

  3. OK we like it we love it… how we gonna get it ??
The next thing you realise is that the guys don’t want to sell their products …also the retailers the same …
Only if you lucky and living in US
    🙂

    1. That’s not true. I’m in Germany and they of course sold it to me. US-citizens get free shipping. I have to pay for it. That’s all.

  4. I thought at first, for the price it was amazing but issues like the filter only working on the square wave make it a bit of an incomplete product. I appreciate that these are artefacts left over from the three original designs, but it kind of explains the price.

I’m guessing if one had filter and sequencing of cv and gate across all the oscillators, and any other partially applied features, it would be atleast triple the price, but I’d consider it!

    Love the Orange knobs!!
