  1. This looks absolutely amazing!

I almost sold my juno60 until I learned about another midi add-on for the Juno, called ‘Minerva’. The Minerva gave my Juno a whole new life, and it is far less capable than this kit (Juno66). If I hadn’t had just installed the Minerva less than a year ago, I’d be all over this.

Any of you out there that are considering it, do it! It’s with it just for the ability to sequence your junk with other great. And no, I do not work for this company!

  2. This looks really good and at a very reasonable price. I’d be slightly concerned about MIDI control over the filter though. If it makes the filter too ‘steppy’ or ‘zippy’ it would be a deal breaker for me.

  3. I had my visa in my hand but the deal breaker for me is that you can’t store the patches.

    FAQ

Q: Do you lose any features by installing the mod ?
A: No, great care has been taken to maintain and emulate the behaviour of the original synths. All added features are additional to the existing ones. An exception is the key transpose button which is used to access many of the new features. For most cases a work-around for the key transpose functionality exists
Q: Does this have midi controlled pitch bend?
    A: Yes.
Q: Is the Juno 60’s DCB interface still working?
A: No, it is not. You can however always replace the Juno-66 with the original CPU to completely restore DCB. (But no Idea why you would want that 😉
Q: Can I still save the Juno-60 patches
A: Yes of course. Juno-66 parameters however are not saved in a patch.

  4. My JUNO 60 is now an upgraded JUNO66 🙂
Juno sounds amazing and organic with slightly detuned OSCillators, and also Portamento and duophonic mode with Supersaw is heaven on earth. next days i will try chord and superarp modes, too.
Its fantastic to get these features for an 30 year old synth.
