  1. Would be nice to be able to buy individual modules in black version, not the whole system, i see many people asking for this like i am now, maybe in the future ?

      1. The vast majority of people in the world work and they would not be able to afford $5000 on any product, even if they saved for years. But I must admit, if you are jobbing in a rich country, and at the same time feel you can’t afford $5000 for your passions, then I see that as a issue that needs addressing by both the individual and that society as a whole. At this stage all citizens of affluent countries should by offering a guaranteed minimal income, regardless of jobbing and work, and not purely as a means to survive – we need more artists, apply within.

        1. — if you can’t make $5000 doing music your in the wrong business
stop giving your music away as (FREE DOWNLOAD ) and sell your hard work for what you think it is worth.

Make Noise makes a product for working artist who have the cash to buy his custom units
–they are modular– and you can get a rosie(in black ) for under $150

come on —— MATHS in black looks SWEEEET!!!!

          1. I agree with everything you say.

The [FREE DOWNLOAD] thing is a solution to minor issue I have. Trying to keep it brief, I have lots of experiments as part of a long term project regarding Sound & Visuals. So I wad into lots of small experiments that will advance myself, and then do nothing but fill up space on a swamped hard-drive. Maybe one day I will go back and listen and use them, but if I am in two minds. So I guess no one ever will. So rather than let that be the case, I just post one or two every so often, just to give life to a select few – and on a free account you only get to have a track downloaded 100 times – ironically they make me pay them so you can give away more music – that’s a great deal?!

Please don’t think that I am trying to devalue music, or may own work. These are experiments for myself that I sometimes share. And once my research is finished, they will be taken down and replaced with my long term project – which will likely have free elements, but on the whole I don’t know. I don’t really think in those terms, all I know is I am lucky, whatever happens my society doesn’t tolerate me, but they can afford me.

Just to clarify here. I don;t think this is over-priced. I think most people, around these parts, could afford it. I like it, I like Make Noise. But I am in a process of stripping back and selling hardware, going totally ITB for a super-tight audio/visual rig, blah, blah, blah…

  2. Sexy.

I’d love to see Make Noise collaborate with Grey Scale for a special edition version of this system. As much as I love using Make Noise modules, I had a hard time wrapping my head around the panel layouts. I currently only own a maths and the filter, and the panel conversion made my life easier, It also fit the aesthetic of my doepfer heavy system better.

    1. I agree 100%. The black make noise modules don’t match the stuff made by most other manufacturers. I probably wouldn’t get this black and gold version of the shared system just because if I ever added or swapped modules I know it would ruin the look.

        1. And they are great.

You eventually get used to the stock jagged art panels of Make Noise….but it is definitely an issue if you like clean labeling.

  3. The nerds have spoken, colors don’t match other things, money is an object, need to look and feel cool for cheap!

    I prefer doing things.
This is my last comment, ever.

  4. These things are works of art. They will be handed down through the generations as such. This and all well-caredfor modular systems are works of art and don’t forget it.
