  1. But can the osc phase reset with each note on??? –
Dudes get that shit on your bass synths!!! (Please)
& 1 VCO seems like a weird choice,,

    1. Yeah, who ever heard of a bass synth with one vco.
I mean, besides some of the most coveted bass synths ever made
it’s rarely ever seen. Also, you’d think the guys that were making
this synth had some sort of budget to keep in mind.

      1. I don’t believe this is a 303 clone, nowhere does it say it’s a 303 clone, doesn’t look like a 303, doesn’t even have a sequencer, it’s just a bass synth. is the minitaur a 303 clone? no. is the volca bass a 303 clone? no.

  2. I wanted to know whether this has accent control like the 303.
If it doesn’t it really misses a trick. Accent at high key range is almost invisible. With bass notes its gorgeous.
It is interesting that pretty much all synth makers miss it (apart from eowave and 303 clones and maybe future retros semi modular)
    So does it have accent?

    1. Yes it can “do” accent. No it does not have an accent button on board. It’s something you’d have to create with a controller/sequencer. Accent is simply an automatic setting that will tweak the filter, amplitude and envelope settings to make the sound more punchy and bright. You can do this without an accent setting proper.

          1. What?

Why does it follow that it does not have an internal sequencer, thus it can’t be sequenced? It has MIDI inputs, CV inputs, etc.

This synth module is a synth module. It has no sequencer. It has no keyboard. It has no way to generate a note without an input. Plug something into it. Like a beat step sequencer.

It has CV inputs controlling cutoff and VCA. When those levels are periodically bumped up for certain notes, that’s called an accent. That’s a sequencer function. Or a velocity-to-cutoff/amp CV keyboard function.

Repeat: Accents are periodic bumps in volume and cutoff control during a sequence. A sequencer generates accent.

  3. Normally, someone would say: just another boring Bass Synth. But this company made the Erebus, which is a beast including a cool delay (which can be controlled via LFO through Patch Bay). A greek company releasing a synth named “Hades” with 2 Subs and a heavy distortion … could be a Bass Synth out of the hell 🙂 It would be nice with a more advanced Patch Bay. Routing LFO to PWM for example.
