This pair of videos feature the improvisations of thereminist Carolina Eyck and synthesist Marius Leicht.

Eyck performs with a Moog Etherwave theremin and Leicht performs with a variety of classic analog synths. Details below.

  1. I don’t understand why all those who post video, should make a detailed list of all the tools they use. That’s fetishism, is not music.

    1. I appreciate the list of gear! Helps me know what I am hearing and I appreciate the sound of each instrument. I actually hate it when they don’t include a list. Also helps me know what gear to look into.

  2. I’m pretty sure there’s a rule that the performer should never touch the theremin. I believe that squelchy noise Carolina gets when she grabs the pitch antenna is some kind of alarm.
