  1. I have had this unit for just about a week now. I love it. I use it to loop from my drum machine as recipient from my Xone:92 DJ mixer, synced to a Korg Electribe2 Sampler via the Roland Aira SBX-1 Box.

It’s fun to play – and that’s the most important part as well.

  2. I’d love to hear/read some opinions and reviews comparing the TC Electronic Looper x4 and the Pigtronix Infinity Looper.

My main use-case is I want to seamlessly loop and have the loop sync to a midi clock. Up until now, I felt like the main “winner” would be the Pigtronix Infinity Looper… but I also LOVE love – absolutely love – TC Electronics gear…

sort of a win/win no matter what – but… thoughts?

    1. Pigtronix loop transport is quantized, and I love that.
I haven’t heard one way or another if the Ditto X4 transport is quantized, and TC has been slow to publish the manual online.

Another thing to keep in mind is the smaller footprint of the Pigtronix.

  3. The Boss Rc-505 never got its due. Probably because it looks like the command center for a spaceship in Starcraft but the thing has a ton of great features but I guess because it wasnt made as a foot pedal, it was lost in the cloud. But 5 independent loops, FX and midi control would lend itself great as a live looper that a lot of the pedal versions dont really hit. If your not a guitarist but love to loop, avoid the EHX 45000 at all cost and grab a RC-505 and a midi pedal and your all good.

  4. Midi sync is very exciting.
Can anyone report if it really syncs without drift? The Pigtronix and Boomerang loopers have issues AFAIK, if they run for a while the timing drifts away because only the first bar is synced.

    1. No drifting issues running my Pigtronix Infinity for 10 minutes + receiving MIDI clock from Analog Rytm. Haven’t tested it longer than 10 minutes, though. This includes constant overdubs, reverses, undos.

  5. Not to detract from the Pigtronix or the RC 505 or the EHX 45000 but TC landed this thing at half the price of any of them. I’m impressed.
