Superbooth 16: Heres a quick demo by Markus Medau of the Ploytec PL2 synthesizer.
The PL2 is tiny synth that combines digital synthesis with an analog low-pass filter.
There are two models. The PL2
- The original black PL2 is powered via its MIDI input.
- The white PL2 Leukos USB only works with computers or iPads, but sounds identical to the original

I have one, and it’s great, but the company could benefit from hiring someone elso to do their demos and marketing. Just sayin…
I do get the sense that the product is actually a lot more exciting than it comes across
Well yeah, emulating real electrc bass or organ sounds is maybe not its strong suit. I like it for the unpredictable lo-fi character, and the speech firmware is also pretty fun.
