Modular Synthesizer Live Jam

Sunday Synth Jam: This video, via Widy, captures a live modular synthesizer jam session.

Here’s what Widy has to say about the technical details:

Used my DIY Modular and a modded microbrute.
Main sequences Oakley, TTSH and Microbrute.
Drum’s Hexinverter Mutant Collection, Jupiter and NeinOhNein

Lauchpad triggeres prepared sequences from DAW and/or de/activates sequences from modular on the fly.

Video was recorded in one shot with 3 cam’s for differnet angles.
No addition edit on the Audio.

    1. That was the exact setup required to do that exact jam, which is never going to happen again. You can do similar stuff with just a computer or even your phone, and you can do similar stuff in a studio three times the one in the video.

The question that you should be asking yourself is: do I WANT to have a setup like that to make MY music?

    2. It’s about having a setup that inspires you, puts you in the zone. One setup will lead you to different musical decisions and conclusions than another will.
