  1. Say what you want about Radiohead, but every time I hear something new from them, whether I really like it or I don’t, it causes the creative gears in my head to start spinning faster than usual. Thanks guys!

    1. This is the “comments” section. You place your “thoughts” about the post/article here. It is not mandatory (compulsory).

    1. Out of curiosity I tried mangling with the sound, reversed, one octave up and speeded up a bit… my guess is “Half of my love”. It could also be “I’ve found my love”.

  2. Great art, great musici. I don’t care if .001% is about synthesizers. In fact, I don’t care if none % is about synthesizers.

The fact is, there is a ton of synthesis happening in this track. A ton of it.

    But that isn’t the point.

  3. Always makes me laugh, Thom Yorke said he’d stop making music before he became like the Rolling Stones putting out any old shit.

  4. Love them or hate them, they have managed to navigate the nearly impossible task of appealing to the mainstream and underground yet holding their integrity intact. They just seem to represent the strange and melancholic times we live in.
Really pissed of I didn’t get tickets to their London gig, I was there bang on 9 am and still ended up being 15,000th.

  5. they write music for the same reason you do, before you imply that a fellow musician should not make music you should stop making music yourself.

  6. The two tracks that have appeared this week are easily the best things that they’ve produced since OK Computer……

    1. Really? Better than “There There”? House of Cards? Weird Fishes?

Think the two new tracks are great, particularly this one, but also think many have missed a lot of great tunes between OK Computer and now because so many got put off by Kid A/Amnesiac.

Certainly, everyone has peaks and valleys in their musical output and Radiohead is no different but the thing I’m most amazed by at this point is just how consistent they’ve been with putting out interesting music and solid tunes over two decades. Like their peaks and valleys have been put through a really nice compressor and the center line is way way up there.
