  1. im quite new to this. how does it work? is there some kind of USB to CV out interface that has to be connected to the computer?

    1. Hey Keith!

As synthhead said, you’ll need either a DC-coupled audio interface or one of those Expert-Sleepers module listed on the website.
These ES modules connect via digital outputs such as ADAT and S/PDIF however Expert Sleepers is about to release a new module (ES-8) that will basically work as a USB to CV interface and it’ll be compatible with CV Toolkit as well 🙂

Let me know if you have any other questions!

      Best,

  2. They list requirements at their site:

    System Requirements

    – DC-Coupled Audio Interface or compatible Expert Sleepers Module (ES-3 / ES-4 / ES-40 / ESX-4CV / ESX-8CV)
    – Intel® Mac with Mac OS X 10.7 (or later), OR a PC with Windows 7 (or later)
    – Multicore processor
    – 2 GB RAM
    – 1280×800 display
    – Broadband internet connection for Pack Download feature.

The CD-coupled audio interface or Expert Sleepers module lets you patch your modular to jacks that your computer controls.

  3. Great work on this product. The price really can’t be beat. If you have the slightest interest in it, I highly recommend you try it out.

  4. Product is really good I use it with es3 it has has a learning curve, like anything in modular. Icaro is very fast with responses. Great customer service. I’m hoping for more tutorial videos. Recommended
