Machines in Music, New York’s free modular synthesizer exhibition, is scheduled for Oct 8-9, 2016.
In 2015, Machines in Music invited 24 modular synthesizer companies from around the world to exhibit in a 2,000 sq. ft. space in Bushwick, NY. Over 1,000 visitors, beginners and experienced synthesizer users alike, took part in the hands-on exploration of each company’s modules as well as discussions by industry professionals.
The evening concert included five artists performing live-modular sets with live-visuals provided by a local multi-media artist. The following day, MiM invited users to perform short live-sets in a casual setting.
The event is scheduled for Oct 8-9 at NY’s Knockdown Center. The MiM Exhibition is FREE to the public.
