Native Instruments Komplete 11 Now Available

Native-Instruments-KOMPLETE11Today Native Instruments announced that Komplete 11 is now available.  First announced last month, the newest generation of the Komplete production suite now includes 45 products and more than 13,000 sounds, with seven new instruments: Form, Reaktor 6, Una Corda, Discovery Series: India, Replika, Session Guitarist – Strummed Acoustic, and Kinetic Metal.

Komplete 11 Ultimate, NI’s flagship bundle for professional producers, composers, and sound designers, now has 87 products and over 18,000 sounds. It adds 13 new instruments to the previous generation, including the five professional scoring instruments in the Symphony Essentials line, Flesh, Emotive Strings, plus all the new products in KOMPLETE 11.

NI-Komplete11-FormForm. Komplete 11 and Komplete 11 Ultimate now include Form, a new synthesizer with a different approach to sound creation. Using a sample as the primary oscillator, Form offers a “powerful new paradigm.” Producers choose the direction and behavior of sample playback, and set playback rates according to sample length, frequency, or BPM. For in-depth manipulation, the amplitude curve is modified using presets or the built-in Curve Editor. The signal is split into two frequency bands, able to be treated independently. Each band features its own controls for digital or analog saturation, dynamics control, and delay, reverb, and modulation effects.

Komplete 11 Select is a new version of the suite that, NI says, “offers a gateway to the professional music production world” of Komplete, with eleven full instruments covering a wide instrument range: synths, pianos, drums, percussion, and effects. Among the instruments included are Massive and Monark, two of Native Instruments’ most widely used synths. Two essential effects, the Replika delay and Solid Bus Compressor, round off the collection. In all, Komplete 11 Select includes over 2,500 sounds with more than 25 GB of instruments and effects.

  1. This is the most Kompletely Komplete Kollection of all time, jam packed with Kompletey every Komplete preset and sound, ready at your Komplete fingertips to Kompletey Komplete your next production and take things to a Kompletey new level. My life is now KOMPLETE. Amen. Rice pudding- yum yum.

  2. My copy showed up today. They have greatly improved the installation process this time around. And the new Form instrument is a lot of fun. I’m going to get a lot of mileage out of that one.

    1. My experience on OSX was totally the opposite trying to install the K11 update. All installers were hidden on the shipped drive, and Native Access wasn’t smart enough to install from there, wanted to download all 120gb online. Luckily I was able to access the hidden cryptically named installers with DaisyDisk, and mount them with Finder’s preview. Had to install them manually one-by-one. Maybe I got a bad drive and this is not a wide-spread issue for Mac users.

  3. weakest update yet, other than the Reaktor update (which I have) it’s just rompler filler….in 6 month they will update One of the programs we actualy want to milk more money from the franchise…

  4. As always affordable and simple! can`t wait to not buy it. i will wait for a 2000 euro version. wait a minute, what am i saying? is anybody in there?

    1. Cant really agree with you on this one. Just because you had a bad run with ancient Kore 2, doesn’t mean that all NI products are bad.
I am owner of Komplete Ultimate 10, Komplete Kontrol S49 and Maschine Mikro MKII and loving all of them. Unfortunately version 11 of Komplete is underwhelming especially for the asking upgrade price.

  5. Lots of new samples. Lots and lots of new samples. Any updates to Massive, FM8, Absynth etc? Proper updates? This is Synthtopia after all
