Restoring An R. A. Moog Modular Synthesizer

This video, via Reverb, features synth tech Mike Borish telling the story of the restoration of an original R. A. Moog Modular Synthesizer.

The modular is # 1029 – one of only several dozen modular synthesizers built in the 1960’s by R.A. Moog, synth pioneer Bob Moog’s first company.

Video Summary:

In the late 1960’s, R.A. Moog created their infamous modular synthesizer and with it, electronic music history was changed. When Mike Borish heard that Roosevelt University in Chicago had one of these monolithic synths sitting in disrepair, he had to fix it up and get it sequencing once again.
