Unofficial Korg Minilogue Patch Editor

Synthmania has introduced an unofficial Korg Minilogue Patch Editor.

Here’s what they have to say about it:

The Korg Minilogue is a polyphonic synthesizer with lots of knobs and switches to edit all relevant parameters directly. Sometimes it can be usefull to controll the synthesizer within your DAW. This is possible now with the Korg Minilogue Editor Software. You can create your own sounds and you can also save them to your local device. Also it is possible to load patches.

The Korg Minilogue editor is available now. The editor can be used as standalone and VST version for Windows 32 and 64 Bit and MAC OSX (tested with OSX 10.9). Be sure you´ve updated your Minilogue to firmware 1.21. Othewise the editor won´t work.

The editor is optimized for a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 px.

Pricing and Availability

The Minilogue Patch Editor is available for 15 Euro. A demo version is also available.

  1. The only thing i desire is to be able to name the patches I create within Korg’s own librarian. I dislike having to do that task on the Minilogue.

  2. Something I can see that will be great about this is if – when you load a minilogue patch, it shows you all of the patch parameters. This will help someone who is learning synthesis to see where the patch’s current settings are. Also, it’ll be helpful if you want to get deep in there with some crazy parameter automation. I think it’s pretty cool, honestly!

  3. Now can we can use iPads to control our Minilogues just like a real synthesizer!

j/k.. could serve some useful purposes. worth considering

  4. I thought one useful effect of this would be that you can save patches on your computer for fast switching and unlimited patches that change with your other synths
