Stylophone Gen X-1 Synthesizer Hands-On Demo At The 2017 NAMM Show

At the 2017 NAMM Show, we talked with Dubreq’s John Simpson, who gave us a hands-on demo of the new Stylophone Gen X1 analog synthesizer.

The Stylophone Gen X-1 is the latest portable analogue synthesizer by Dubreq. It’s designed to be an inexpensive stylus synth, like the original stylophone, but with some of the synthesis features of their more powerful Stylophone S2 analog synthesizer.

Pricing and Availability

The Stylophone Gen X-1 synthesizer is expected to be available in May 2017 for $70/£60/70 Euro. See the Dubreq site for details.

  1. LOVE IT! It reminds me a bit of the EMS VCS3 sound wise. Not sure why but it brings back sounds of when synths were first starting out like the Forbidden Planet soundtrack or some 60s experimental stuff. Great price point. Sold.
