Macbeth’s Synth Improvisation In 3D

Sunday Synth Jam: Synth designer Ken MacBeth of MacBeth Studio Systems is an avid photographer and recently has been sharing his experiments in the area of 3D imaging.

Here shared this video, in anaglyph 3D, capturing some improvisation on his new EXACTA synthesizer. Anaglyph 3D is the approach used in old-school 3D movies, so you will need to use red/cyan 3D glasses to see the 3D effect.

Something Wicked This Way Comes

The new synth he’s designed is called EXACTA. MacBeth describes it as ‘an exact Wasp like clone, plus some extras’.

Details on the EXACTA are still to be announced, but he has shared some images of the prototype, below:
