  1. Just got an Erebus after playing around with both for a couple of hours.
The build quality of these synths is absolutely amazing., not to mention their versatility and sound… (I am definitely getting both but wanted to start with the Erebus.)

  2. I absolutely love the Nyx! Also own the Hades and Erebus, all three are great. Dreadbox is one of the best synth companies. I really do hope they do something like the Murmux V2 again.

    1. They’re pretty different from each other sound-wise. The Erebus only has 1 LFO while the Nyx has 2 Modulators. Also the Nyx has different settings for how the oscillators route thru the filter to the modulators. The Erebus is a low pass filter while the Nyx has dual filter, with low and high pass and a couple of more routings. Erebus had a built in delay while the Nyx has a reverb. I love both, they complement each other nicely. Both are very versatile.

I was lucky to be one of the firsts to pick up the Nyx at its special pricing on synthesizers.gr for only $500 with shipping. I sold my Korg MS-20 Mini just in time to get in on the sale because I wanted the Nyx so bad.

Sonic State has amazing review of the Erebus…
