Hypersynth Xenophone White Edition (Sneak Preview)

Berlin reader Dr Walker shared some photos of the upcoming Hypersynth Xenophone White Edition.

Walker says the new Xenophone as ‘fkkn überawesome’ and that the white version will be available soon, with a new OS and a free synth stand.

The Hypersynth Xenophone is an advanced analog monosynth, with 100% analog signal path. It has three oscillators, two subs, four ring modulators, one multimode VCF and analog distortion, all based on discrete analog circuits. i It also offers built-in stereo digital delay and reverb.

Hypersynth describes the Xenophone as the ‘best choice for creating deep basses, aggressive leads, transparent and crisp synth lines, acid sequences, complex arpeggios, punchy percussive sounds, extreme SFXs and more.’

Details on pricing and availability for the new Xenophone are still to be announced.

  1. “the ‘best choice for creating deep basses, aggressive leads, transparent and crisp synth lines, acid sequences, complex arpeggios, punchy percussive sounds, extreme SFXs and more.’”

So, just like all the other synths on the market, then?

  2. This is just a white version of the old synth?

Nothing else new besides the OS which probably works in the old one?

Does anyone even have the old one?

  3. Needs a wave-folder then it could claim to be West-coast! 🙂

I remember Dave Smith saying he was pulling out of the mono-synth market because everybody was making them, and the engineering required for poly-synths is what distinguishes the newbies from the big-boys: all the voices have to be of sufficient quality that they can be calibrated to sound identical which is much more demanding.

  4. 4 not so clever posts on one of the most clever, feature ladden compact analog synths.

You guys expose yourselves as quite some amateurs 🙂

  5. This is an amazing monosynth with tons of modulation capabilities and a straightforward user interface. Bingo Star and gridsleep are right on about it.
We are living in a golden age, when you can get this and an MFB Dominion 1 for less than vintage Minimoog or ARP Odyssey.
