Propellerhead Intros Layers Quadrasonic Sample Player

Propellerhead has introduced Layers, a new Quadrasonic Sample Player Reason Rack Extension that’s inspired by classic synth sounds.

  • Korg MonoPoly
  • Korg MS-20
  • Korg Poly-800

  1. Picked up a second monitor that I am running in portrait mode for one of my Macs and started using reason again so will definitely get this. Love the ad good stuff.

  2. I’d be interested to know if it includes an RX-Modulator. If so, I might be able to conduct a mainframe cell direct and hack the uplink to the download.

  3. Propellorhead, this is definetly cool. Would have enjoyed it too be part of an upgrade though. I sincerely hope they let loose their grip on having to buy everything instrument wise for the program. I’d like to see something new instrument wise included in reason 10…. even just orkster 2… something

  4. Does anyone know why they are releasing this instead of a refill for their rack samplers? Couldn’t I build a combinator that does the same thing?
