The second season of Netflix’s retro sci-fi/horror series, Stranger Things, debuts this weekend.

The first season featured an 80’s inspired synth soundtrack by Michael Stein and Kyle Dixon of the band SURVIVE, and the returned to score the second season.

The latest episode of the podcast Song Exploder features Dixon & Stein, discussing how they made the Stranger Things Main Title theme.
