Moog DFAM Hands-On Demo

This series of videos, via CTRL MOD, offers a hands-on demo of the new Moog DFAM (Drummer From Another Mother) Eurorack module.

The videos focus on using the DFAM as you might expect – for creating percussive sounds.

For a different approach, see our interview with Bana Haffar, where she talks about using it to create tonal sequences and ambiences, in addition to percussive sounds, in order to be able to get the most out of a small Eurorack rig.

  1. I like it. Call me non romantic but i am aiming more towards B Neutron though ……
I find Dfam a bit spicy expensive compared to my Minitaur

    1. The DFAM can be used as a standalone synth or mounted in a Eurorack system:

      EURORACK CURRENT DRAW: 230mA (+12V – from 10-pin header)

EURORACK MOUNTING DIMENSIONS: 60HP (1”/26mm Module Depth)
