Otto’s DIY Makes It Easy To Prototype New Eurorack Modules

Otto’s DIY is a new prototyping system for creating custom Eurorack modules.

The Otto’s DIY ecosystem was created for fast module prototyping. The printed circuit-boards are designed to fit common parts of synthesizers. The coordinates of the holes in the prototyping area are numbered along the edges of the panels to help the layout process. Pre-drilled holes make it easy to mount potentiometers and jack sockets.

Production of the system is being funded via a crowdfunding project. Here’s the intro video:

DIY kits are available to project backers, starting at US $20.

  1. looks suspiciously similar to Robert Langers DIY module for his AE modular super-portable system.. wonder if that was the inspiration?
