AI Synthesis has introduced a new Eurorack module, the AI004 OTA VCF, inspired by the filter design of the classic Korg MS-20.

The new module is available as a fully built module, a full kit, as a PCB and Panel set, and as a PCB only. PCBs are professionally manufactured, wiring-free, have full video how-to build guides, and all panels are aluminum and designed by Grayscale.

The AI004 OTA Filter is available in several forms, including a full kit for US $85 and assembled for $160.
Yet another eurorack MS-20 filter clone?
What was (is) very nice about the MS-20 is that it had two filters, a high- and low-pass variant. Of course you can obtain the same effect by using two AI004’s. Price seems very reasonable.
I think most MS-20 filter clones out there are of the earlier, Korg 35 (Sallen-Key) type. The later one was OTA, and the MS-20m has both, which is great fun!
