Moog DFAM – The Mutant Drum Synthesizer

Composer Benn Jordan takes a look at the new Moog DFAM – a Eurorack all-in-one analog synth voice that’s tailored to, but not limited to, making percussive sounds.

Jordan highlights that the DFAM doesn’t meet your expectations or fit neatly into any category – it’s not really a drum machine, but a ‘happy accident’ – sort of the mutant offspring of the Mother-32.

Check it out and share your thoughts on the DFAM in the comments!
