Year 0ne is designed to let you physically move within a mix, using augmented reality. Your movement, tracked by your smartphone, affects which sounds you hear, where they are placed in the mix and changes how individual effects are applied to them.

TCW has also shared information on building spatial audio apps on their site.

  1. Thanks for sharing Synthtopia!!! We got to approach writing music in an entirely different way—even for synth nerds like me modulating lowpass filters over time AND space! (Can never get enough filter tweaking.) Definitely recommend other musicians check this tech out! -Will/Wall of Trophies
