Lawrence, KS based Free State FX has introduced the H9 Effects Processor, an Eventide H9 Harmonizer re-housed for the MU synthesizer format.
The H9 offers 50 effect algorithms and 99 presets. Over 500 presets are available via the H9 Control app.
Two versions are available:
- The H9 Effects Processor MAX is an MU version of Eventide’s H9 Harmonizer Max. It offers full access to all Eventide’s algorithms for the H9. It’s available to pre-order for $990
- The H9 Effects Processor Standard is an Eventide H9 Harmonizer, re-housed for the MU synthesizer format. It is preloaded with 9 effect algorithms and 99 presets. Additional effects available for purchase via the H9 Control app. It’s available to pre-order for $790.

I don’t get it, exactly how many presets come with the regular H9 Max in it’s entirety, and exactly how many can be loaded into the pedal at one time?
Your comment is a bit confusing, since there is a Max version and a Standard version.
Max:

Standard:
“Preloaded with 9 effect algorithms and 99 presets. Additional effects available for purchase via the H9 Control app.”
From the H9 manual:
“The H9 holds up to 99 Presets (1 to 99). 99 presets may be more than you need”
He means can you chain effects… so having reverb a delay effect the sound at any one time, or possibly more.
