The Bob Moog Foundation is raffling a unique Minimoog, signed by Stevie Wonder

The Bob Moog Foundation – a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of synth pioneer Bob Moog – shared this video, demoing the prize in their latest raffle.

The video features Asheville funk keyboardist Thomson Knoles.

The Foundation runs an annual raffle as a fundraiser to help support its mission. Their Spring 2019 raffle prize is a vintage Minimoog Model D synthesizer, signed by the legendary Stevie Wonder.

The Minimoog has been played by Wonder, and features his signature, in the way of two fingerprints, which are affixed to the front panel of the synthesizer in a brass and plexiglass archival enclosure.

The vintage Minimoog Model D being offered, serial number 8207 was built at Moog Music’s Williamsville, NY factory, and is valued in excess of $5,500. With Stevie’s signature it is considered priceless. It has been fully restored by Tone Tweakers and is in excellent technical and physical condition.

Details on the raffle are available at the Foundation site.
