Björk – ‘losss’ (Official Music Video)

Björk shared the music video for her new song, losss.

Here’s what she has to say about the video:

“it is time to show you another song visualized by the overwhelmingly talented Tobias Gremmler ….. no one captures digital sensuality like him , elegant and expressive !!!! this is made for the multiple screens of cornucopia and we share it all here on 1 for your laptop screen … we based the visuals on the conversations between our inner optimist and pessimist , when i recorded this i tried to sing in a deeper tone for one of them in the left speaker and a higher optimist in the right . and if you listen on headphones it will match the imagery …..”

    1. Did you listen to it in mono maybe? There’s quite a lot going on in the stereo field.
I personally think Bjork is one of those artists you can only really enjoy listening to on a good set of cans in a quiet environment. It doesn’t work quite well on speakers either.

      1. Nothing to do with the imaging or stereo field, which also is not spectacular. I did listen on headphones and it sounds like a 96kbps rip to me.. somebody goofed or these mix engineers are terrible.

  1. I posted that same thing when it was debuting on YT. Mix is either off or it’s way over-compressed. Might have something to do with Rabit co-producing that song. I dunno…I absolutely love Bjork and what she’s done musically. It’s amazing. But since Arca has starting co-writing her songs they are becoming dull and drone-ish (imo). Can’t even follow any sort of melody half the time.

I could give zero cares about the videos. They’re kinda all the same and just weird. People love them though, because effects.
