Free Beatmaking Sampler For iOS, Hypertron

Developer Roman Fischer has introduced Hypertron for iOS, a new software instrument for iOS that they say “offers the best features of well known samplers, sequencers and drum machines for quick editing and flexible music production.”

It’s a free app, but offers in-app purchases to get sample content and to unlock some advanced features. See the details below.

  1. Please stop calling software free when it’s just the unusable trial version that’s free. I know it’s just 5 bucks but then there’s stuff like SYNTH ONE and it’s not fair towards them imo

    1. It is free and quite capable in its free state. You can sample directly in the app.

      You can’t import samples and you can export stems without the $5 IAP. Dilla could make a banger with those limitations. So can you!

  2. It’s a fun app and well worth $5. The free trial version is perfectly usable to get an idea of what the app is. It’s not the only app that does this.

      1. also +1. $5 is like nothing for the work that goes into making these. 90% of the time, most of us make a judgement call on using a synth or drumbox on UI / workflow alone, and this gives you a sense of it.
