Jazzman Ltd is back with an update to its Patch Morpher app, which works as a patch generator, editor, librarian and an interactive performance tool for synthesizers.
Patch Morpher 2 introduces some major new features. In addition to the four new synths supported, it includes some powerful enhancements to the patch generator, which give the user a lot more control.
Richard Meyer, developer of Patch Morpher, says, “Users can also now ‘morph’ each section independently: pitch, tone, filter, envelopes, effects, etc. Combined with the ‘Nearest’ option in the Patch Generator, it now possible to copy entire parameter sections form your favorite patches to mix and match how you please.” Continue reading

- PC3K Sound Editor is a Sound Development tool created specifically for Kurzweil PC3K keyboard/synthesizer. It requires a Kurzweil PC3K keyboard.
- Artis Sound Editor is a Sound Development tool created specifically for Kurzweil Artis keyboard/synthesizer. It requires a Kurzweil Artis keyboard.

Developer Fabrizio.Poce has released J74 Volca Control – an $8 package that provides you with three editors and control surfaces for each of the members of the Korg Volca series: the Volca Keys, Volca Bass and Volca Beats.
The tools let you control, store and modulate all Volca native MIDI parameters, while adding a bunch of new features for synthesis and performance, such as: filter KeyTracking (both VKeys and VBass), Chorus-like effects (VKeys), additional tempo sync LFO (VKeys), Pitch Tuning and modulation modes (VBass), 3x note Polyphony emulation on VBass, MIDI velocity emulation on VBeats, LFO auto-tuning modulation (VBass and VKeys) and Solo/Mute controls on VBeats.

Patch Morpher allows the user to automatically create new patches for the Prophet 12, Prophet 8, Moog Voyager and King Korg synths, along with Mutable Instruments’ Shruthi-1, with developer plans for additional synth compatibility to come.
