Native Instruments today released B4 II 2.0.3, an update for its popular software instrument. The new version adds Universal Binary support, allowing users of Intel-based Macintosh computers to fully utilize the creative potential of the leading virtual drawbar organ on their machines.

The 2.0.3 update for Windows and Mac is now available as a free download for all registered users of B4 II on the NI website.

For installation on a Intel-based Macintosh computer, a Universal Binary license code can be purchased for $ 29 / 25 Euro in the NI Online Shop.

Customers who first registered B4 II after September 12th, 2006, are eligible for a free Universal Binary license code.

Native Instruments has introduced the B4 II, the latest version of its classic drawbar organ virtual instrument.

According to Native, the new version offers even more authenticity and flexibility due to further significant advances in sound synthesis and amplifier emulation technology, and brings a wide range of additions and improvements that make it the most versatile and easy-to-use virtual drawbar organ both in the studio and on stage.

B4 II is available for a suggested retail price of $229 / 199 Euro from authorized dealers and in the NI Online Shop. An update for existing B4 owners is available for $ 99 / 79 Euro.

Native Instruments has announced that the B4D Controller is now available.

The B4D drawbar controller is a hardware controller for NI´s award-winning B4 organ, giving direct access to every important parameter of the software for a true-to-life organ experience. With a casing built from solid metal and real wood, the controller is rugged as well as attractive.

With nine mechanical drawbars, two rotary knobs and 22 buttons, the B4 not only sounds like, but also controls like the real thing, making it more authentic and playable than ever before.

The B4D Controller is available for a suggested retail price of $ 449 / 399 Euro from authorized retailers and in the NI Online Shop. The “B4D Controller Bundle” includes the B4 Organ as well as the “Vintage Collection” tone wheel expansion and retails for $559 / 499 Euro.
