Articles about Behringer:

Behringer B-Control EditorBehringer, one of the world-leading designer and manufacturer of a full line of professional-audio products, today announced the immediate availability of B-CONTROL EDIT, a JAVA-based editor/librarian program specially-designed for the current line of B-CONTROL products. The beta version of B-CONTROL EDIT is available for free-of-charge downloading at http://www.Behringer.com.

The B-CONTROL EDIT facilitates the operation of preset-control and editing functions in a user-friendly manner for the USB/MIDI B-CONTROL ROTARY BCR2000 and B-CONTROL FADER BCF2000 models. It offers simple handling with graphical-screen support and is compatible with all computer-operating systems installed with JAVA*. The B-CONTROL EDIT provides a visual separation between the ‘CONTROLLER’ (hardware unit), ‘EDITOR’ (the software in the computer’s temporary memory) and ‘COMPUTER’ (library access on the hard drive), thus rendering multi-window displaying unnecessary. All the controller elements like buttons, encoders, faders, or foot switches can be easily selected and edited by clicking on their graphical equivalent in the B-CONTROL’s display. In addition, control elements can be loaded from various presets and then rearranged into a new preset, while ‘preset compilations’ for creating a new 32-preset-device can also easily be accomplished.

The Behringer BFC2000 brings motorized faders to computer musicians at a surprisingly affordable price.

Behringer BFC2000 Motorized Fader ControllerThe new Behringer B-CONTROL Series combines the versatility of audio software with the feel of real controls. It lets you move real faders and turn real knobs to control all the virtual gear in Cubase®, Cakewalk®, Logic Audio® and other major audio software. It’s the intuitive way to control and create music with a real hands-on feel. The line includes hardware controllers with faders (BCF2000) or knobs (BCR2000).

The BCF2000 is hands-on control surface with 100-mm motorized faders for the ultimate control of virtual mixers, organ-drawbars, synths and samplers. You can make group moves that you can’t make with a mouse, and the faders are motorized for automated control!

The BCF2000 is USB compatible, features full MIDI In/Out/Thru capability and includes 8 endless rotary encoders, each with a 15-element LED indicator plus a push-to-set function, that let you select, adjust, set and control a myriad of functions. Assign a dedicated knob, fader or key to your most frequently used functions and make edits without touching the mouse. Tweak “front panel” settings by simply turning a knob or sliding a fader. It’s like having the real knobs and faders for every control on the screen!

Behringer expects the BFC2000 to be available in 2nd Q. 2004.

Behrenger has announced a new line of controllers for computer audio workstations. The B-CONTROL Series combines the versatility of audio software with the feel of real controls. The B-CONTROL series is a line of powerful, but affordable, control hardware.

Behringer BCA2000 audio midi control surfaceThe BCA2000 is a high-speed USB 2.0 multi-channel audio MIDI control interface. It provides an intuitive control surface with 100-mm faders for audio/MIDI sequenzing. It also features a high-performance analog input section that has 2 state-of-the-art studio-grade IMP “Invisible” Mic Preamps with +48 V phantom power, plus line and Hi-Z guitar inputs. Combine this with its versatile digital input and output formats like ADAT®, ADAT® S/MUX, AES/EBU and S/PDIF (including DOLBY DIGITAL® and DTS® options) and you have an unlimited array of interfacing capabilities.

You can simultaneously use 3 analog input sources (1 mono + 1 stereo) with digital input sources. Its ultra-flexible input/output configuration is supported by a comprehensive LED audio routing indicator plus button (status) LEDs. Input signal distortion and A/D converter overload are prevented by the adjustable studio-grade analog input dynamic control (noise gate + limiter).

The BCA2000’s fully equipped USB/MIDI interface with 1 MIDI input and 2 MIDI outputs is individually selectable for 16/32 MIDI channels. Plus, full multi-channel playback is enabled at 24-bit/96 kHz. There is a high-resolution 2 x 12 element LED level indicator for stereo In/Out signals plus 2-element LED level indicator for input and output channels 3 through 8. The high-speed USB 2.0 interface with 24-bit/96 kHz supports 8 In & 8 Out channels simultaneously (analog and digital) with low-latency ASIO 2 and WDM drivers.

Simply connect your B-CONTROL to your computer via high-speed USB 2.0. Then connect your keyboard, guitar and mic. Computer musicians will appreciate the fully equipped master and monitor sections with 100-mm fader, individual level controls for 2 speakers, 2 phones and low-latency direct monitor function plus separate dim, mute and mono functions.

Behringer expects the BCA2000 to ship 2nd quarter of 2004.
