Blue Cat Audio has released a collection of free music plugins for Mac & PC, in AU and VST formats.

The bundle contains a wide range of modulation effects as well as analysis tools and an EQ to get you started with your DAW.

This bundle is available for Mac and PC, in DirectX, Audio Unit and VST plugin formats.

Blue Cat Audio has announced Blue Cat’s Freeware Plugins Pack – all the company’s freeware VST and directX audio plug-ins gathered together in a bundle. Choose the VST or DirectX plug-ins download, and get them all.

The bundle contains a wide range of modulation effects as well as analysis tools.

Available formats include Windows VST and Direct X. A Mac VST version is now in beta, and an AU version is promised.

Blue Cat Audio has updated their all-in-one dynamics processor, Blue Cat’s Dynamics. The new version (2.0) of this Compressor/Expander/Limiter/Gate DirectX and VST plugin for Windows brings undo/redo support, presets export/import as well as user interface enhancements.

Blue Cat Audio has released an update of the Blue Cat’s Parametr’EQ series, their new EQ series providing the best of the digital and analog worlds, thanks to non-linear modeling capabilities. This is a maintenance release bringing a few bug fixes and minor enhancements. The upgrade is free for V3.0 customers, and the special introduction offers (-20%) still applies.

New in Blue Cat’s ParametrEQ series 3.1:

• Frequency ranges have been enlarged
• Skins update (Stereo and Widening plug-ins): some sliders did not have the color of the corresponding channel
• Bug fix (VST): in some hosts, when a loading a project, the parameters where not properly restored and the response curve was flat
• Bug fix (skinning): knobs did not display the disabled state image

Blue Cat Audio has unleashed Blue Cat’s Parametr’EQ series V3.0 and a new mastering bundle named Blue Cat’s Master Pack.

The Parametr’EQ series offers non linear modeling capabilities to provide analog compression and distortion at every EQ stage. The new output peak meter and brickwall limiter are of great help to adjust the output level. These plugins also offer a window opacity feature which lets you see through the user interface while adjusting the parameters. The special ‘Widening’ version provides mid/side channels where you can manage the center position for the M-S matrix, enabling precise positioning of the EQ in the stereo field or multi band stereo widening and narrowing capabilities.

These plugins can be purchased separately, as a bundle, or within the new Blue Cat’s Master Pack that includes all necessary tools for mixing and mastering. A demo version of the plugins can be downloaded on Blue Cat Audio’s website, and special introduction prices have been setup for this new release (-20%).
