DJ Magazine has announced its take on the Top 100 DJs in the World for 2009, and there aren’t a lot of surprises.

Armin Van Buuren again reigns supreme, with Tiësto and David Guetta following in the #2 & #3 positions.

Techno DJ Carl Cox talks about Traktor at the Winter Music Conference 2009.

Native Instruments has published a series of interviews with DJs from this year’s Winter Music Conference, focusing on NI’s Traktor.

The Ultra Music Festival (UMF) has announced the dates for its 11th consecutive year: Friday March 27 and Saturday March 28, 2009.

The UMF will take place during the 24th annual Winter Music Conference at the waterfront location of Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami (the same grounds it has occupied since 2006). 

The line-up for the festival is pretty insane:

Sounds like a line-up, huh?

In addition to the annual Miami festival, UMF has expanded internationally to include events in Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, San Juan, Madrid and Ibiza.

British techno guru Carl Cox is bringing his Ultimate Carl Cox tour to the USA and Canada for the whole month of October.

The techno master will visit seven cities in North America, including New York, Boston, and Los Angeles. Cox will also be paying a visit to four cities in Canada, including Calgary.
