Crysonic has announced the release of nXtasy V2 and availability in Native Mac OSX AU,VST (PPC /Intel Mac) and PC VST formats.

Description:

nXtasy V2 is an Analog based multi-Octave Harmonic saturation Audio DSP plug-in supporting 64-Bit internal precision. nXtasy can be used through out the entire chain of music production from tracking, live use to mixing and final mastering.

The primary ability of nXtasy is to add multi-octave harmonics and en-duce tube like saturation effects that are extremely close to popular analog hardware. Crysonic has announced that its line of pro audio products should have full support for just about every computer music platform, except for maybe Commodore and Atari, within the next two weeks.

All current Crysonic technologies and products, including future releases, will soon be available in multiple plug-in formats, including Universal Binary (Intel/PPC) Mac OS X AU, VST, Native Windows XP/ Vista PC VST and stand-alone versions on applicable Products. Updates of the current Crysonic product line are expected to become available later this month.

“Along with the move to support more plug-in formats we have some very exciting new technologies and products in the pipeline including updates to our current products with many new features such as Nintendo Wii controller support for direct real-time control of any button or dial for live use and automation recording”, comments Jay C. Crysonic Announces Immediate Availability of Spectra C1 Vintage Compressor VST Plug-In

Crysonic has announced the release of SPECTRA C1, a Pro Audio grade wideband Compressor suitable for voice, instruments, track compression and subtle soft-knee mastering compression and expansion.

We haven’t used this, but the interface is, how do they say, “the sexy”.

Spectra C1 utilizes Crysonics’ physics based audio processing engine, allowing the characteristics of the final audio to be easily adjusted to taste.

Compatible with all VST hosts including Wavelab versions 5 and upwards and Receptor.
