Here’s an overview of the new Akai Max25 from Marketing and Artist Relations Manager Nate Lane at the 2013 NAMM Show.

Key features of the Max25 include:

  • 4 LED touch faders
  • 8 MPC pads, MPC Note Repeat, and MPC Swing
  • 4 pad banks
  • 4 fader banks
  • 64 assignable pads, faders, and buttons
  • Step sequencer and expanded arpeggiator
  • CV & Gate outputs

Expect it to be priced at about $350.
