Instructables has a cool DIY tutorial on how to make a Deadmau5 Mau5head out of a 13″ hamsterball.

There’s probably some symbolism in sticking your head in a hamsterball and decorating it to look like a giant mouse, but I don’t know what it is.

It’s a bit ironic that he makes a point of saying he doesn’t like quantized beats aligned to a grid, and then reveals his “secret weapon” to be a Monome.

Overall, a good interview, with lots of geek gear talk.
