MPC-Samples.com has introduced a new construction loop pack, Ambient Hip Hop Constructions.
Ambient Hip Hop Constructions is a collection of 20 melodic, beat-driven songs, broken down into their constituent looped elements such as drums, keys, bass, and synth parts. Each element is looped to a specified BPM (tempos range from 70 bpm 120 bpm), and keyed to allow mixing and matching between themes. All individual drum hits are also included.

Equinox Sounds has released Downbeat Electronic Dance Drums, a downloadable loop pack containing drum loops and drum sounds aimed to various downbeat electronic genres like Ambient, IDM, Experimental, Industrial, Trip-Hop, etc. The loops are presented in ACID/WAV and REX2 formats.

Various – Hammock
Hammock is an interesting collection of downbeat dub grooves from Synergetic Records. Compiled by Swhe Dagon and Dub’Acan, the CD features 9 previously unreleased tracks.
Dub’ Acan is better known as DJ Acan, a Vienna dj best known in the psy-trance area, and who is also the head honch at Synergetic Records.
On Hammock, the musicians explore an area of electronica rooted in dub that is a refreshing alternative to standard trance/techno fare. The tracks feature dub-style audio manipulation and beats combined with electronic effects. Highlights of the CD include Chaos’ Spectral Skunk, and the beyond laid-back Acan track, Siesta.
