DreamStation

Audio Simulation have announced the new DreamStation II sequencer and software synth host application for the Windows platform. In addition, they’ve made DreamStation I available as a free download.

The sequencer interface has been completely reworked, the internal sound engine detached to allow industry standard plugins to be hosted, and the mixer has been  improved to be able to handle and manipulate audio streams from plugins and audio tracks.

DreamStation II is compatible with most of the DirectX, DirectX Instrument, VST and VST Instrument plugins. These plugins can be used as sound generators for the patterns and effects for the mixer (in insert or send mode).

Time stretcher, free DreamStation DXi2 and free effect plugins also come with the “starter” package.
