Elemental Intros Inspector XL
Elemental Audio Systems has announced the immediate availability of InspectorXL, the newest and largest addition to their professional line of audio plug-ins. InspectorXL is a complete audio analysis suite featuring six (6) individual, comprehensive, and customizable plug-ins addressing common audio analysis needs.
InspectorXL is the professional counterpoint to Elemental Audio Systems’ popular, free, mini audio analysis plug-in, Inspector. InspectorXL has a regular price of $219 US, but is available now at over 50% off – an introductory price of $89 US – until September 30, 2005.
Elemental Audio Systems has announced a name change for its peak limiter and the availability of updates for all of its commercial audio plug-ins. Formerly known as Finalis, Elemental Audio Systems’ limiting plug-in and newest product has been renamed Finis.
The plug-in updates, released for Firium, Eqium, Neodynium, and Finis, address several issues and offer improved user experience and audio quality. All supported plug-in formats, including Digidesign RTAS, Steinberg VST, and Apple Audio Unit (AU), are affected by the updates. The new versions are free to all current, registered customers.
Finis, the plug-in formerly known as Finalis, is a true brick-wall peak limiter and loudness maximization plug-in. Finis combines a simple interface with an intelligent processing engine to provide smooth and transparent limiting. Elemental Audio Systems has announced the release of Finalis, the latest addition to its line of professional audio plug-ins. Finalis is a brick wall limiter that employs sophisticated processing techniques to provide smooth, sonically pleasing peak limiting and loudness maximization under even the most extreme conditions.
Elemental Audio Systems, makers of Mac and Windows audio plug-ins, has announced that it will donate half of the cost of customer purchases in January to the American Red Cross for Tsunami relief.
For each purchase made during of January, Elemental will sponsor a donation to the American Red Cross of at least 50% of the purchase price in the customer’s honor. Customers will not incur any additional charges and need not complete any additional steps to trigger their sponsored gift donation.
Elemental Audio Systems will pay for the donation along with any and all administration fees associated with the program. Weeks after completing their purchase, customers will receive a card from the American Red Cross acknowledging the sponsored gift.

In addition to new features and improvements, these new versions include improved Audio Unit support for better compatibility with Apple Logic 7 and other up-to-date Audio Unit applications. Firium and Eqium support a range of common plug-in formats and are compatible with popular host applications including Digidesign Pro Tools, Steinberg Cubase, and BIAS Peak. Firium and Eqium are available individually for $129 each or bundled for $169. The updated versions are free to registered customers.
