Erik Wøllo

Composer, musician and synth designer Erik Wøllo has introduced a new VST plug-in instrument for VST compatible systems, Wollo Voyager. 

The Wollo Voyager is a virtual analog synthesizer designed for use in a VST sequenzer host for PC. Also the synth is available as a standalone version. The synthesizer combines analog style sounds with onboard effect processors and EQ. Delay, Flanger and an advanced Reverb section.

Wollo Voyager is dedicated to produce sounds that is especially useful in modern electronic ambient and
space music styles.

• Filter with ADSR and Amount
• LFO with Speed and Depth
• 16 Step LFO with host time sync
• Panning Delay with host time sync
• Flanger
• Sophisticated Reverb section with EQ
• 4 band Equalizer for total overall sound
• Mouse Controlled Device for live use (not yet finished)
• Virtual animated mouse Keyboard and MIDI monitor
• Preset Manager with one bank of 64 presets

Erik Wøllo is a guitarist, synthesist and composer originally from Hemsedal, Norway. He has composed and performed music for films, theatre, ballets and exhibitions, as well as composing for strings, woodwinds and larger orchestras.

He’s released 11 CDs of music with influences ranging from ambient electronica to rock and jazz. His latest release, Elevations, is on the Spotted Peccary label.

Elevations, the latest release on the Spotted Peccary label by Erik Wøllo, is a chilled collection of ambient electronica.

Wøllo is a guitarist, synthesist and composer. His music on Elevations features atmospheric guitar placed in ambient or downtempo electronic contexts. His guitar style brings to mind the work of Terje Rypdal and Robert Rich – he plays in a very expressive way, but doesn’t rely on traditional jazz or rock stylings. Read more…
